About me
My dream was never to become a fashion designer. I studied engraving and handmade coins and medals in Jablonec nad Nisou and then glass design at the Technical University in Liberec.
I owe the fact that I can sew to my mother - without ever knowing that fabrics would become a medium of expression or a livelihood for me.
It started when we were traveling in Asia a few years ago. I noticed how we can relax, be spontaneous, be ourselves in a foreign environment. And not just by behaving and experiencing, but also by dressing.

I wanted to keep all the diversity and beauty not only in myself, but to bring it back with me and share it with the people I love. So I bought a several rolls of carefully selected local fabrics on my travels, and in the meantime thought about how to make it so we could be like that at home. Beautifully feminine, free and windswept like by the ocean.
That's how the idea came about to make a dress inspired by the elegant cut of a kimono and a classic, comfortable robe that could replace sweatpants, leggings and loose t-shirts in our homes (and in the summer time even outside).

At first I was worried if they would all be left in my closet, but at the very first "pop-up" just for my friends, they were all gone. I was overjoyed - especially from the smiles it brought out in my loved ones when they felt confident and beautiful in a dress from me. To this day, they still send me photos from their travels from time to time and tell me stories of random passerbys who stop them just to compliment their dresses.
Thanks to them, their friends, colleagues, sisters started contacting me. Or they want to delight their mothers. And I am filled with their joy, which made me decide to leave my previous job, open my own studio in Prague and devote myself to sewing fully.
